Microsoft Copilot is now available as a ChatGPT-like app on Android
Microsoft has discreetly introduced a dedicated Copilot app for Android, available on the Google Play Store for almost a week. The app, reminiscent of ChatGPT, provides chatbot capabilities, DALL-E 3 image generation, and text drafting for emails and documents. Notably, it grants free access to OpenAI’s latest GPT-4 model, a feature requiring payment on ChatGPT. This move follows Microsoft’s rebranding of Bing Chat to Copilot and signifies the company’s expansion of the standalone Copilot experience beyond Bing search results. While an iOS version is not yet available, it may be on the horizon.
