According to the Counterpoint Research report, the Chinese tech giants outperformed the Cupertino-based Apple company, even surpassing sales of the latest iPhone 15 lineup. Smartphones from domestic brands experienced a significant boost in sales during the 11.11 shopping period, with iPhone sales declining by 4 percent over the two weeks from October 30 to November 12.

The combined success of Huawei and Xiaomi contributed to a 5 percent year-on-year increase in overall smartphone sales in the local market during the Singles’ Day sales period.
