This update is a global initiative, with the Galaxy Z Fold 4 already receiving it in the US and various countries across Australia, Asia, Africa, and Europe. Simultaneously, the Galaxy Z Fold 5 has begun receiving the update in Latin America.

The November 2023 security update for the Galaxy Z Fold 4 introduces firmware version F936BXXS4DWJ2 and is available in numerous countries, including the US, the UK, Australia, France, Saudi Arabia, and more. To get the update, users can check for it in their phone settings under Settings » Software update and then tap on Download and install.

For the Galaxy Z Fold 5, the update is rolling out in Latin America, beginning with Guatemala, and it brings firmware version F946BXXS1AWJ4. Samsung notes that this update addresses over 65 security vulnerabilities found in the previous software version, including fixes from both Google and Samsung.
