Samsung One UI 7 Update: Eligible Galaxy Devices for Android 15 Revealed
As Google prepares to release the third Beta update of Android 15 exclusively for its Pixel phones this month, Samsung enthusiasts eagerly await the South Korean tech giant’s response. Although the new operating system is currently limited to Pixel devices, Samsung plans to launch its Android 15 Beta Program, branded as One UI 7, for Galaxy devices in August 2024.
Unlike other Android vendors such as Xiaomi, OPPO, and OnePlus, which have already started public beta programs for their flagship devices following the I/O 2024 event, Samsung is not bound by these timelines. The latest version of Samsung’s skin, One UI 6.1, is based on Android 14. The upcoming One UI 7, built on Android 15, is expected to roll out to various Samsung devices later this year.

The Galaxy S24 series is anticipated to be the first to receive the One UI 7 Beta, with availability starting in August 2024. Subsequently, Samsung will extend the beta program to include older models such as the Galaxy S23 series, Galaxy Z Flip 5, and Galaxy Z Fold 5.

For those who do not see their Galaxy device on this list, there is no need to worry. Samsung will continue to update the list throughout the year based on device eligibility and past rollout patterns. The official list will be released once the stable One UI 7 rollout begins around October 2024.
